President – The Kennet & Avon Canal Trust (www1.katrust.org.uk) Formed 52 years ago to protect, enhance and promote the Kennet & Avon Canal between Reading and Bath. The Trust was awarded in 2013 'The Queen's Award for Voluntary Service'.
